Your local women’s health bus is coming to you

Part of Gateshead Women’s Health Hub, the Newcastle Community Health Bus (working in partnership with Newcastle GP Services and affectionately known as “Monty”), is coming to Gateshead to bring essential health services directly to local communities. Onboard, women and girls can access services such as menopause support, cervical screening, gynaecological care, and sexual health/contraception services – all in one convenient place.

In partnership with organisations across Gateshead, the bus visits harder-to-reach areas to ensure more women and girls can access the care they need. This initiative builds on extensive community feedback, addressing local health priorities while supporting Gateshead Health’s ambition to become a Northern Centre of Excellence for Women’s Health.
