Gateshead Sexual Health in partnership with Family Hubs & Gateshead Council launch a range of new community clinics in Gateshead

The new partnership approach aims to improve access to sexual health care in community settings taking clinics out to the heart of the community.

Gateshead Sexual Health strive to ensure services are accessible across the local area and together with Family Hubs have established a range of new outreach clinics to support the wider community to access sexual health care and advice.

As a service we are aware of some of the challenges some patients face when trying to access our services such as transport, travel to clinics, cost of travel and the need to take time off work, school or college are only some of the barriers people face when accessing sexual health care.

To address these barriers to service access, we have set up a range of Family Hubs offering FREE contraception and FREE STI screening in a location near you.

You can now book appointments for the below at a location near to you

• Contraceptive Pills
• Condoms
• Emergency Hormonal Contraception (Morning after pill)
• Contraceptive Injection
• Contraceptive Implant Insertion
• Pregnancy Testing
• Asymptomatic Sexually Transmitted Infection Testing
