Working alongside Northumbria University @ Trinity Halls

Northumbria University student accommodation is again this term in partnership with Gateshead Sexual Health. Northumbria University Student services work alongside Gateshead Sexual Health each year who strive to promote the interests and welfare of university students whilst living on campus at Trinity Square Accommodation.

The outreach team ensure all students have equal open access to sexual health provision whilst living on campus promoting safe sex, health and wellbeing and local sexual health provision. The  team offer regular sexual health drop in sessions offering on site screening, barrier contraception and referral in to clinic providing a channel of communication between students and Gateshead Sexual Health.

The sexual health team attended events during March welcoming new students to Trinity promoting service access and clinics to new students in Gateshead.

The team look forward to working with staff and students throughout 2025.
